Local police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at the Home Depot on Rockhill Drive around 6 a.m. on Sunday, Bensalem police said.
That's when Ryan McLinden, of Philadelphia, made his way to the roof of the building in an attempt to elude police, according to the Bensalem Police Department.
K9 Bowie, along with officers, made their way to the rooftop with ladder assistance from the Nottingham Fire Company, police said.
K9 Bowie found McLinden hiding in between the HVAC units, police said.
McLinden was taken into custody and was arraigned by Judge Falcone.
He was subsequently remanded to Bucks County Prison with bail set at 10% of $100,000.
